Sunan al-Nasā’ī merupakan salah satu karya utama dalam Kutub al-Sittah yang mendapat perhatian meluas dalam kalangan ulama hadith, termasuk melalui penghasilan pelbagai karya syarah. Namun, kajian terhadap metodologi yang digunakan dalam kitab-kitab syarah Sunan al-Nasā’ī masih kurang diberikan perhatian secara khusus dalam disiplin ilmu syarḥ al-ḥadīth. Justeru itu, kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengisi kekosongan tersebut dengan meneliti pendekatan metodologi yang digunakan oleh tiga buah kitab syarah terpilih terhadap Sunan al-Nasā’ī, iaitu Dakhīrah al-‘Uqbā, Hāsyiah al-Sindī dan Hāsyiah al-Suyūṭī. Penyelidikan ini menumpukan kepada mengenal pasti persamaan dan perbezaan dalam kaedah pensyarahan mereka serta bagaimana metodologi tersebut mempengaruhi pemahaman dan penghuraian hadith berdasarkan prinsip-prinsip ilmu syarḥ al-ḥadīth. Pendekatan kualitatif digunakan dalam kajian ini, dengan kaedah analisis dokumen sebagai teknik pengumpulan data utama serta analisis kandungan sebagai teknik analisis data. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahawa terdapat kepelbagaian pendekatan dalam ketiga-tiga kitab syarah yang dikaji, mencerminkan kerencaman perspektif ilmiah dalam tafsiran hadith. Kajian ini menyumbang kepada perluasan wacana ilmu syarh al-hadīth dengan menekankan kepentingan memahami pendekatan metodologi secara kritis. Oleh itu, dicadangkan agar kajian lanjutan dilakukan terhadap kitab-kitab syarah hadith yang lain bagi memperkukuh kefahaman terhadap tradisi pensyarahan hadith dalam khazanah keilmuan Islam.
Sunan al-Nasā’ī is one of the primary works within the Kutub al-Sittah and has received significant scholarly attention, particularly through various commentaries. However, the methodological approaches employed in the commentaries on Sunan al-Nasā’ī have not been extensively examined within the discipline of syarḥ al-ḥadīth. This study seeks to address this gap by exploring the methodological approaches used in three selected commentaries on Sunan al-Nasā’ī: Dakhīrah al-‘Uqbā, Hāsyiah al-Sindī, and Hāshiyah al-Suyūṭī. The research focuses on identifying the similarities and differences in their interpretive methods, and how these methodologies influence the understanding and elaboration of hadith based on the principles of syarḥ al-ḥadīth. This study adopts a qualitative approach, employing document analysis as the main data collection method, and content analysis as the method of data analysis. The findings reveal a range of methodological diversity among the three commentaries, reflecting a variety of scholarly perspectives in hadith interpretation. This study contributes to the broader discourse of hadith methodology by emphasizing the importance of critically understanding different methodological approaches. It is recommended that future research explore the methodologies of other hadith commentaries to further enrich the understanding of hadith commentary traditions in Islamic scholarship.
