[CATEGORY OF HADITH ASSESSED FALSE] KATEGORI HADIS YANG DINILAI PALSU

Abstract

Efforts to preserve the hadith of the Prophet SAW have been made by scholars throughout the ages until today. Fabricated hadith often become an issue and polemic especially among religious people and society. Although several efforts and preventive measures have been implemented, this issue still persists until now. Among the problems that arise is the assessment of the status of hadiths whether they are fake or not fake in the writings of academics and religious people. As a result, the general public will be confused by the answers given. This study uses a qualitative approach through descriptive and comparative research methods. From this brief study and research, several research findings have been produced. Among them are hadiths that are judged to be false divided into two categories, namely false hadiths whose falsity is disputed and false hadiths whose falsity is agreed upon by hadith scholars. In addition, this research also found types of hadiths that are judged to be false but the practice of which is established in other ?a??? arguments. Therefore, information about the dangers of false hadiths and the categories of hadiths that are judged to be false must be conveyed to the public so that the information that reaches them is a definite truth.
