Abstract

The current study aims to test the role of applying the Mass Media engagement strategy and reveal the role of applying the Online Teaching Support Strategy in Malaysian public schools in the continuity of education during the Covid-19 crisis. Methodology: Government secondary schools in the state of Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia are considered the target population of the study, which number 113 schools in the state of Kuala Lumpur. The principals and administrative staff in these schools constitute the target sample. A quantitative survey questionnaire will be used to collect data, so that the research questionnaire measures two types of the variables are the independent variables (media involvement strategy, online teaching support strategy), and the dependent variable (continuity of education). Results: The media engagement strategy and the online teaching support strategy have a statistically significant impact on the continuity of education in Malaysian secondary schools. Conclusion from the researcher: The results also indicate a positive direction for these two relationships, that is, the application of the media engagement strategy and the online teaching support strategy is directly proportional to the continuity of secondary school education. The greater the degree of application of the media engagement strategy and the online teaching support strategy, the greater the probability of Continuity of school education and vice versa.
