Aims and Scope

Malaysian Journal for Islamic Studies provides a platform for diverse and interdisciplinary academic field that examines Islam as a religion, a civilization, and a cultural and historical force, encompassing its scriptures, theology, law, philosophy, history, and the societies and experiences of Muslims throughout the world.

MJIS is published twice a year and will be online world wide. The first issue will appear in January 2017.

The journal will be published quarterly:  June and December
