The teachings of Jesus and those of Prophet Muhammad pbuh originate from the same source, which is Allah, the All-Knowing and All-Powerful. Both of them are among the messengers whom Allah has sent to this world. As such, there are numerous similarities between the teachings of these two messengers, as enshrined in the Bible and the Quran. This study examines and analyzes the similarities found in the teachings of Jesus, as recorded in the Bible, and the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), as revealed in the Quran, particularly in the areas of creed and jurisprudence. The focus of this research is to conduct a textual analysis of several key issues. The methodology employed involves a comparative analysis of the sacred texts from both religions, namely the Bible and the Quran, using a hermeneutical approach to identify and compare the main themes and substantive similarities in these two teachings. The findings of this study reveal a harmony in the area of creed, showing that every messenger sent by Allah brought the message of monotheism and the laws that must be followed, as outlined in the sacred texts of both religions. This deeper understanding of the commonalities between the teachings of Jesus and Prophet Muhammad pbuh aims to provide a more profound explanation of the alignment between the two, further strengthening interfaith dialogue by highlighting the fundamental similarities discovered.
