Deletion of the Verb on the Condition of Interpretation According to Ibn al-Shajari and Arabic Scholars: A Comparative Analytical Study

Abstract

Ibn al-Shajari was considered as the first one who singled out successive chapters of deletion and removed ramification and complexity. It can be noticed that the deletion of the verb with the condition of interpretation is the most complicated and ramified thing . But Ibn al-Shajari was distinguished with explaining the deletion issues of different kinds of antecedent pronouns. He also attracts you smoothly by asking, detailing and surrounding the issues and being far away from complexity and distracting the recipient in matters of dispute. So, the research aims to express Ibn al-Shajari’s explanation of Deletion of the verb with the condition of interpretation other Arab scholars -his contemporaries and predecessors-. This research was based on the foundations of the descriptive approach and its characteristics, and it reached a set of results, the most important of them is that Ibn al-Shajari was the first one who dealt with the types of deletion in successive chapters, and he presented the Deletion of the verb with the condition of interpretation in a smooth and organised manner that no one presented before him – according to the researcher’s knowledge-.
