The project manager plays an important role in ensuring that the project he or she manages is completed on time, cost, and quality that has been set. To be a project manager, it takes a superior character to be a leader in project management. Typically, the characters that are often expressed are of a physical, technical, and skillful nature. For example, experienced, good at communicating, and have good technical skills. However, apart from those characters, characters of a spiritual nature should also be present among project managers. This is because it can be a bulwark to them from committing negative acts such as corruption and embezzlement. Accordingly, this study aims to identify and analyze the characters of project managers according to the Qur’an by focusing on surah al-Mu’minun verses 1-11. The identification and analysis are based on document review methods and qualitative content analysis methods. The results of the study found that the characters that need to be present in a Muslim project manager according to surah al-Mu'minun verses 1-11 are like always keeping prayers and understanding the philosophy of prayer, avoiding useless actions and conversations, paying zakat, curbing lust and always maintaining self -esteem, as well as maintaining trust and promises. The implication is that the spiritual character can not only increase faith in Allah SWT but also enable the project manager to implement the demands of parallel work following the requirements of Islamic law.
