This article examines the educational paradigm introduced by Said Nursi, a prominent Islamic thinker from Turkey, who advocated a holistic approach to education that integrates religious knowledge and modern sciences. In the context of secularism that emerged after Atatürk's revolution, Nursi offered an alternative emphasizing the integration of rationalism and spiritualism, aiming to strengthen faith while harnessing scientific advancements. This study discusses how Nursi's educational framework sought to address the void left by the secular education system, which excluded religious elements. Through a comparative analysis between secular education and Nursi's educational paradigm, the article evaluates whether Nursi's approach is a relevant alternative or a threat to secular education systems. Additionally, the study assesses the reception and critique of this educational model within Turkish society and its potential application on a global scale. The article concludes that, although Said Nursi's educational paradigm offers a distinct approach, it has the potential to function as a complement to modern secular education systems by placing greater emphasis on moral development and the integration of religious knowledge into daily life.
