A Grammatical Study of the Meanings of Prepositions in the Context of Surat al-Naml

Given the importance of the Holy Quran and the breadth of meanings of the Arabic language, especially in the field of Quranic interpretation, this study aims to identify the prepositions mentioned in Surat al-Naml and to know their meanings and connotations. This study relied on a quantitative and qualitative approach. The study sample consisted of Surat al-Naml, interpretation books, and language dictionaries. The analysis process was carried out through several stages by identifying the verses in which prepositions were mentioned in Surat al-Naml and then analyzing their meanings and connotations by referring to interpretation books and Arabic language dictionaries. Previous studies have proven that library studies are among the most important studies that help researchers support and explore the phenomenon under study. The expected results in this study will reveal the number of prepositions mentioned in Surat al-Naml, which ones are the most frequently mentioned, and which ones are the least frequently mentioned. The study's findings will also reveal the meanings and connotations of the prepositions mentioned in Surat al-Naml.
