The Relationship between Word and Meaning and its Impact on the Understanding of Linguistic Inimitability

Abstract

The research deals with the issue of pronunciation and meaning, which the ancients and the modernists worked on searching for the relationship between the word and the meaning, whether among the Arabs or others, and they reached several results because of their different experiences and cultural disputes. Realizing the linguistic miraculousness of the Qur’an, as the miraculousness of the Qur’an is based on the preference of meanings in the souls through the selection of words and methods that are not substituted for other words and methods. Attempting to prove this miracle on the part of investigators on the issue of pronunciation and meaning, proceeding from this, the researcher uses the descriptive method for this issue with extrapolation and analysis of the linguistic miracle in the Qur’an from this pattern. Which was not previously referred to separately.
