The special issue addresses the role of communication and media in managing micro and macro challenges from local and global contexts. The collection of articles is aligned with the 7th International Conference on Communication and Media 2020 (i-COME’20) theme that is “Breaking the barriers, inspiring tomorrow”. Collectively, these studies provide an insight for future researchers to venture into communication and media matters.
