APJ is a blind peer-review journal. There are some general criteria for the acceptance for publication of a submitted manuscript as follows:
i. Significance
Manuscripts are research papers in Asia and it other regions of the world.
ii. Standard Criteria
Manuscripts which meet the journal criteria as follow:
iii. Agreement
Manuscripts that are not accepted for publication include those that are too elementary, poorly written and poorly organized incoherent, too specialized in scope, improperly technical or very long. Such manuscripts that are rejected are promptly returned to the author.
iv. Peer-Review Process
Review process for submitted manuscripts will take around six weeks. APJ journals use single-blind review, which means that the reviewer knows the author’s name, but the authors do not know the reviewers’ identities unless reviewers choose to include their names in the review. The Editor-in-Chief will have the first initial review of the paper on its suitability and relevance often consulting with Associate Editors. If the review reports are not favorable, the Editor-in-Chief decides to seek another reviewer.
The revised paper when received by the Editor-in-Chief will again be evaluated to ensure that all issues raised by the reviewers have been addressed. If deemed necessary, the revised paper is forwarded to the reviewers for another reading. When all quarters are satisfied, the author is notified that his/her paper has gone through the review process and is now accepted for publication in a forthcoming issue of the journal.
