Reaksi Kepemimpinan MTUC Terhadap Hak Pekerja Semasa Berlakunya Krisis Ekonomi Dunia
Abstract
When the world was hit by the economic crisis beginning July 1997, the leadership of the Malaysian Trade Union Congress MTUC) under Zainal Rampak took a harmonic approach in the industrial relation in Malaysia. During the period, he has never manipulated the union to pressure the government. He put forward national and workers interest through the approach of peaceful negotiations. Indeed, this friendly attitude toward government had enhanced the system of industrial relation in Malaysia.
