Al-Quran and al-Sunnah have recorded that the best period is in the period of the Prophet Muhammad SAW and his companions. Engraved a bond of brotherhood that led to the progress of the civilization even became the backbone of the strength of the ummah at that time. The public also knows that the society formed at that time consisted of a pluralistic society, represented by various races, ethnicities and religions but the harmony and unity built proves that there are concepts that need to be traced and adapted in order to be practiced and used as a guideline for this multiracial society in Malaysia. Therefore, this paper uses the library research methodology to examine how Rasulullah SAW educate his companions and their practice in preserving the harmony of society. This study also making an observation on the methods used by MACMA as an NGO dealing with non-Muslims and converts. As a result, there are various examples of the way the Prophet SAW and his companions in dealing with Non-Muslim communities can be adapted in our society, especially in Malaysia. It is hoped that the field-based approaches with this multi-racial society will continue to be practiced in our society today.
